The BVI Commercial Court – friend or foe?

We are delighted to host a lunchtime discussion on Wednesday, 24 May 2023 where we will consider the significance of the decisions and approach of the BVI Commercial Court for Asian based clients.

The session will focus on the approach of the BVI courts to debt restructuring, shareholder disputes and enforcement of arbitration awards as well as the effect of the new BVI Civil Procedure Rules.

The presentation will be delivered by Richard Evans, a partner from our BVI office, who will be joined by Conyers Hong Kong office partners, Mark Yeadon, Norman Hau and Anna Lin.
