Isabel Dwan is an Associate in the Corporate Department of Conyers Dill & Pearman in the British Virgin Islands.

Isabel moved to the BVI in 2019, following four and a half years of onshore transactional experience in London. She has a broad corporate practice covering mergers and acquisitions (both public and private), restructurings, capital markets and joint ventures.

Prior to joining Conyers Dill & Pearman, Isabel worked as an associate in the Corporate Department of Travers Smith LLP where she was involved in a range of corporate transactions including joint ventures, initial public offerings, secondary capital raises, mergers and acquisitions and listed company advisory work. Isabel also spent four months on secondment as Corporate Legal Counsel to SSP Group plc, a FTSE 250 company operating food and beverage brands globally within the travel sector.

  • Acted for Exponent Private Equity on its £500 million Main Market IPO of Trainline (aborted)
  • Advised (formerly) Dee Valley Group plc on its £84 million contested takeover offer by Severn Trent plc
  • Acted for Carpetright plc on its company voluntary arrangement and £65 million placing and open offer
  • Acted for the Peel Group on its investment into Liverpool John Lennon Airport and other joint ventures within the Peel Group
  • Advised Aggregated Micro Power Holdings plc on its placing to raise funds in order to redeem convertible loan notes
