William A. Finnerty is an Associate in the Private Client & Trust department of Conyers’ Bermuda office. William joined Conyers in September 2021.
Prior to joining Conyers, William completed his training contract in August 2021 with Kennedys Law LLP in London where he gained experience in a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious matters including international arbitration, commercial contracts and commercial litigation in the trust, company, life sciences, (intellectual) property, professional negligence and (re)insurance sectors. William has also completed a secondment to the legal division of Chubb’s European Group in 2019-2020.
Having moved offshore to Conyers’ Bermuda office, William’s practice now involves the creation and restructuring of local and international trust structures and privately held businesses, advising settlors, trustees and beneficiaries on their duties and obligations and advising on general matters of trust law.
William is admitted to practice in both England & Wales and Bermuda.
