Conyers acted as special legal counsel in the British Virgin Islands to 8i Enterprises Acquisition Corp (the “Company”) in connection with its U$50 million initial public offering (“IPO”) of 5,000,000 units at US$10.00 per unit on the Nasdaq Capital Market. The IPO included the exercise in full of the underwriters’ over-allotment option to purchase an additional 750,000 units.

The Company is a blank check company formed for the purpose of entering into a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, recapitalisation, reorganisation or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities, with a focus on operating businesses in Asia.
