Conyers Dill & Pearman represented Adenium Energy Capital, Ltd., a solar developer and investor, on Cayman Islands law matters related to its successful development and financing of four separate utility-scale solar photovoltaic power projects in Jordan. The four projects, comprising one of the largest IPP projects in the Middle East and situated in the Ma’an and Mafraq regions of Jordan, had a total value of US$ 160 million. Debt financing was provided by a consortium including the International Finance Corporation (as lead arranger), Arab Bank, Finnfund, FMO and the OPEC Fund for International Development. Leading project finance trade publication IJ Global named the portfolio financing its 2015 Middle East Renewable Deal of the Year and 2015 Middle East Deal of the Year.
