Conyers Dill & Pearman provided BVI advice to Chagala Group Limited in connection with its GDR delisting and listing of company shares on the London Stock Exchange, thereby improving investor access to the shares and reducing costs associated with the GDR programme.
The transaction is significant for Conyers in that Conyers is the Company’s lead BVI counsel, advising on all aspects of BVI law throughout the Company’s GDR delisting, the Prospectus filing and the listing of its shares on the London Stock Exchange.
Chagala Group is a specialist service and facility provider predominantly targeting oil and gas companies and their service providers operating in the Caspian region of Kazakhstan. Chagala provides residential and business accommodation, associated catering, leisure, transport, warehousing and logistics support to all major companies involved in extracting oil and gas from Kazakhstan’s Caspian region.
