Conyers Dill & Pearman provided Bermuda law advice to Global Logistics Properties (“GLP”) in connection with its acquisition of Gazeley for approximately US$2.8 billion (€2.4 billion) from Brookfield Asset Management Inc., which completed on 20 December 2017. Conyers also advised GLP on its US$1.2 billion financing in connection with the acquisition.
Gazeley is one of the leading owners and operators of logistics facilities in Europe with a portfolio of over 3 million square metres in the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands.
GLP is a leading global provider of logistics solutions and is one of the world’s largest real estate fund managers, managing over US$43 billion of assets under management and a global portfolio of 636 million square feet.
