Conyers acted as special legal counsel in the Cayman Islands to the Greenland Hong Kong Holdings Limited (the “Company”) in connection with its issue of US$300 million 6.0% bonds due 2021 (the “Bonds”). The Bonds are listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited by way of debt issues to professional investors (as defined in Chapter 37 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and in the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571) of Hong Kong) only.

The Company is a large state-owned enterprise that engages in real estate development, property and hotel investment, and property management businesses. It is the subsidiary of Greenland Group, which is listed on China Mainland’s A-share market (600606.SH) and partially listed on Hong Kong’s H-share market (00337.HK 01365.HK). Greenland Group is a Fortune Global 500 company and is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
