Conyers’ acted for both Enstar Group Limited (“Enstar”) and Allianz SE (“Allianz”) in connection with the licensing of their joint venture, Enhanzed Reinsurance Ltd. (“Enhanzed Re”) as a Class 4 and Class E Bermuda reinsurer.
Enhanzed Re will reinsure life, non-life run off and property and casualty business from affiliates of its operating sponsors, Allianz and Enstar.
Director Charles Collis and Associate Jacqueline King of Conyers’ Bermuda office advised on the matter working alongside Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP.
