Conyers Dill & Pearman acted as special legal counsel in the British Virgin Islands to Star Energy Geothermal (Wayang Windu) Limited (the “Company”) in connection with its issuance of 6.75% Senior Secured Notes due 2033 with an aggregate principal amount of US$580 million (the “Bonds”). The Bonds have been labelled as ‘Green’ and recognised by Carbon Trust Assurance Limited, London as being compliant with the Green Bond Principles (“GBP”) pursuant to the International Capital Markets Association’s ‘The Green Bond Principles 2017 – Voluntary Process Guidelines for Issuing Green Bonds’. Carbon Trust Assurance Limited, London has also recognised the Company’s Wayang Windu geothermal energy generation facility in West Java, Indonesia as an eligible Green Project under the GBP.

The Bonds are listed on the Official List of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).
