Conyers advised Chinese tech giant Tencent Holdings Limited (“Tencent”) on the establishment of a joint venture through a Cayman company, Infinium Holdings Limited with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Hillhouse Capital and Mr. Adrian Cheng in connection with an application for a virtual banking licence in Hong Kong, which was approved by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority on 9 May 2019.

Tencent is a Chinese multinational investment holding conglomerate founded in 1998, whose subsidiaries specialise in various Internet-related services and products, entertainment, artificial intelligence and technology both in China and globally.
