On Monday, 16 October Conyers will re-open its office in the BVI. A full team of corporate managers, administrators and support staff will operate normal business hours. They will share the premises with the Royal Engineers, for a unique and important alliance that is helping serve the community.
Two days after Hurricane Irma passed over the BVI Conyers had established and offered operational space to the UK Military, who had flown in to assist with the immediate relief effort.
“Our teams worked locally and from temporary locations to re-establish our physical location in just under four weeks. I am amazed and humbled by their efforts”, said Mark Forte Partner & Head of BVI Office.
He continued, “We are pleased to be fully operational and to report that we have been able to retain all of our employees throughout this devastation. To be sharing our space, vehicles and amenities with the Royal Engineers has been empowering and uplifting for everyone”.
Also on the ground in BVI is Partner Anton Goldstein who added: “The mood in BVI is very much forward-looking and we are grateful to have the support of the Royal Engineers, who are working with government and businesses to re-build infrastructure on the Islands”.
