Conyers Shortlisted for Legal Week Innovation Award
Conyers Dill & Pearman has been shortlisted for Legal Week’s International Law Firm Innovation award, for the launch of its investment funds digital campaign.
The campaign was designed to engage with prospective clients during the early stages of their decision-making process. In particular, Conyers focused on providing an interactive, user-driven approach to determining which type of fund would be most appropriate.
What resulted was an integrated digital campaign that drove awareness, increased web traffic and provided informative content to assist prospective clients in identifying their fund objectives sooner. The key innovation of the campaign was the launch of the Funds eTool – a first for offshore. This new user-friendly eTool was designed to help those looking to set-up an investment fund in the Cayman Islands. It draws on Conyers’ extensive experience and knowledge in the global funds market and removes the complexity of having to navigate through reams of information. The e-Tool is being expanded to include investment funds in Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands.
Piers Alexander, Partner, Hong Kong office, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Innovation award. Developing this campaign and, more importantly, the eTool has enhanced our approach to client service. By answering a few short questions, users will be provided with a suggested fund option in minutes, which they can then take forward with one of our funds specialists. This progressive approach aims to engage and empower clients during their initial decision-making process”.
“It is an honour once again to be shortlisted for the Innovation award. This acknowledgment underscores the significance and importance of incorporating digital technology into the firm’s strategy. Further, creating a client-first experience was a primary objective of the campaign. Adding the self-serve eTool took this experience to a new level. We are now able to better service our clients and their specific needs”, added Melanie Barros, Chief Marketing Officer.
The Legal Week Innovation Awards recognise projects and initiatives developed by lawyers and non-fee earners across multiple disciplines, including business development, finance, IT, project management, PR and recruitment.
