Melodie Leung is an Associate in the Hong Kong office of Conyers. She joined the firm in 2025 and focuses on litigation and restructuring matters, with experience in cross-border insolvency, shareholder disputes, and fund-related litigation.

She advises trustees, financial institutions, investment funds, and high net worth individuals on a range of contentious and non-contentious issues, including enforcement actions, receivership applications, appointment of liquidators applications, and advising on directors’ duties in distressed scenarios.

Prior to joining Conyers, Melodie frequently spoke on offshore litigation and fund disputes and has delivered seminars across Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Prior to joining Conyers, Melodie has:

  • Advised on cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters involving listed entities and offshore structures, including applications for winding-up and appointment of provisional liquidators
  • Acted in complex shareholder disputes and fund-related litigation, including dissenting shareholder claims and enforcement of investor rights in offshore jurisdictions
  • Represented creditors and trustees in enforcement actions, including obtaining recognition orders, statutory demands, and appointment of receivers in multi-jurisdictional contexts
  • Provided strategic advice on directors’ duties, voidable transactions, and contingent creditor claims in distressed scenarios
