Beverly Cheung is a Counsel in the Hong Kong Corporate practice of Conyers. She joined Conyers in 2017.
Beverly advises PRC and multinational clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Her practice covers all aspects of banking and syndicated financing work, debt capital markets, M&A work, mortgage backed securities transactions, MTN programmes, exchange offers, tender offers, consent solicitations, corporate restructuring and liability management exercises, including pre-IPO equity and debt financings, initial public offerings of shares in the Hong Kong and the U.S. exchanges involving Cayman Islands, Bermuda and British Virgin Islands offshore companies. In particular, she has actively advised property infrastructure companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as PRC utility and energy State Owned Enterprises.
Beverly also has significant experience in the ship finance practice, and has acted on a wide range of cross-border maritime and offshore structured financing transactions involving various types of assets (including conventional vessels, LNG carriers, oil tankers and cruise ships).
Beverly passed the inaugural Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination in 2021, further strengthening her cross-border legal capabilities.
She was recognised on the ALB Hong Kong Rising Stars 2023 list by Asian Legal Business as one of Hong Kong’s top 30 next generation lawyers, highlighting her strong potential and the recognition she has earned from clients and peers in the industry.

- Advised Beijing Properties (Holdings) Limited in connection with the issue of CNY1.5 billion 5.4% guaranteed bonds due 2027 by its BVI subsidiary
- Advised on the acquisition by Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Limited of a controlling interest in Camelot Employee Scheme Inc
- Advised a PRC leasing company on the restructuring of the sale and leaseback of a passenger cruise ship, which involved multiple layers of Bermuda investment structures
