Diana DeMercado is an Associate within the Cayman Islands Finance and Corporate practice.

She specialises in advising on a range of finance transactions, including general banking and secured lending, fund financing (acting for both lenders and borrowers), aircraft financing and structured finance. Diana also advises on general corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on blockchain, FinTech and digital asset projects, including the establishment and maintenance of Cayman Islands foundation companies and other structures used to support blockchain protocols and digital asset initiatives, together with related regulatory matters, including licensing, registration and compliance under the Virtual Asset (Service Providers) Act (VASP Act).
