Rebecca Nelson is a regulatory lawyer with more than 12 years of legal experience spanning across securities, virtual assets, anti-money laundering, sanctions, regulated lending and data privacy. She has a strong background in financial services regulation, including advising on financial services licensing.

Before joining Conyers, Rebecca held legal roles with international organisations, including a fintech company operating in the Cayman Islands special economic zone. In those roles, she advised on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters and now draws on that experience to help clients navigate complex regulatory regimes with practical, commercially focused guidance.
