Conyers is pleased to announce its continued recognition in the 2027 edition of the Legal 500 Caribbean, with top-tier rankings across the firm’s jurisdictions and practice areas in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands, as well as for offshore expertise in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. The firm secured 51 individual rankings this year, including 10 new individual rankings alongside three new Hall of Fame rankings.
The firm has maintained its leading rankings across all practice groups, including Banking, Finance & Capital Markets, Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Insurance/Reinsurance, Investment Funds, Regulatory & Compliance and Trusts/Private Client. Ten practice groups were ranked as Tier 1, with an additional nine practice areas receiving recommendations. This achievement reflects the firm’s commitment to providing the highest quality legal expertise in the jurisdictions in which we operate, as well as the depth of expertise of our lawyers.
The Bermuda Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Private Client & Trust practices each maintained Tier 1 status. The Cayman Islands office saw eight lawyers newly ranked this year, underscoring the continued growth and strength in depth of the team, and upheld its Tier 1 ranking in Insurance/Reinsurance and performed strongly in six additional practice areas. The British Virgin Islands Corporate and Dispute Resolution teams also maintained their Tier 1 ranking.
The firm is particularly proud to see three Partners newly elevated to the ranking of Hall of Fame: Mark Forte and Richard Evans for British Virgin Islands Dispute Resolution, and Derek Stenson for Cayman Islands Insurance/Reinsurance. These new Hall of Fame rankings recognise the sustained excellence and client service each has delivered in their respective markets over the years.
