Conyers is inviting anyone interested in a career in law to an Open House to network with lawyers and learn more about the firm and the legal profession in Bermuda.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 7 August from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at Conyers’ Richmond House office on Par-la-Ville Road. Attendees are asked to RSVP by 31 July to [email protected].

“Our annual Open House offers people who would like to pursue a career in law a chance to network and to find out more about the opportunities available to them on their path to qualification,” said Lisa Spencer-Arscott, Global Head of Human Resources. “We look forward to welcoming students from a wide variety of campuses and backgrounds, as well as those who have followed non-traditional paths. Our attorneys enjoy meeting prospective lawyers and many will be present at the Open House.”

Conyers offers a number of career-building opportunities for law students, including a summer law programme of two six-week rotations for those who have completed at least their first year of law school. Each summer student is paired with a lawyer who acts as their mentor and they are involved in actual client projects such as legal research, due diligence and preparation of legal documents. Those who excel in the summer placement may be offered a pupillage contract once they have completed their law degree.
