Conyers’ BVI Managing Partner and Head of Litigation and Restructuring, Mark Forte, was pleased to attend INSOL International’s inaugural Riyadh Seminar at the Movenpick Hotel & Residences on Monday 22 January. Conyers was a proud sponsor of the event, with Mark being the only BVI resident in attendance.
Organised in collaboration with the Saudi Bankruptcy Commission and the Restructuring Insolvency and Legal Practitioners Association, the seminar was the largest gathering of restructuring, insolvency, banking and legal professionals in Saudi Arabia. Over 200 attendees met to discuss the country’s economic and legal landscape as well as its bankruptcy and restructuring frameworks, as the market for such services continues to grow exponentially in the region. Several experts from a very welcoming local professional market provided valuable insights about future opportunities in and from the Kingdom.
