Conyers is delighted to announce the appointment of Tommy Tuohy as a Partner in its Cayman Islands Corporate and Finance Practice.
Tommy has extensive experience acting for financial institutions and major corporates in leveraged and corporate finance, project finance and corporate restructurings. Tommy frequently advises on all types of fund finance matters and has significant experience advising on subscription and capital call financings, NAV facilities and hybrid facilities. He is well-known and highly regarded in the fund finance market and brings significant experience and knowledge with him to Conyers.
Further, Tommy has experience in asset finance matter and advises on shipping finance transactions including secured lending in respect of Cayman registered yachts. He regularly advises on corporate matters and the formation and listing of Cayman entities on US stock exchanges. Tommy is listed as a notable practitioner in the IFLR1000 rankings and as a key lawyer in Legal 500 for exceptional service in banking, finance and capital markets.

Prior to joining Conyers, Tommy was a Partner in the banking and finance team at Ogier Cayman. He started his career at William Fry in Dublin and subsequently worked as a Consultant at Gilbert & Tobin in Australia.
