Daire O’Herlihy is an Associate in the Litigation and Restructuring practice in Conyers’ British Virgin Islands office.
Daire has significant experience acting for institutional lenders, state bodies, and property developers. Daire has managed complex company and insolvency disputes from the injunctive stage through to trial and appeal. His broad practice has also included a wide array of property disputes, tax appeals, regulatory investigations, debt enforcement and challenges against public bodies.
Outside of litigation, Daire has assisted companies with their transactions and provided non-contentious advice in the areas of litigation, environmental, and health & safety law.
Prior to joining Conyers, Daire worked in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice of a leading Irish firm, where he led on a number of high-profile and novel disputes.

- Acted for a developer in an Irish dispute over a large housing development. The dispute comprised a judicial review of the planning permission, and two Commercial Court cases concerning property rights and claims for conspiracy.
- Defended a company group from tax appeals and investigations brought by the Revenue Commissioners of Ireland.
- Acted for a property developer over the ownership of historic and artistic windows in the Irish High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
- Acted for a financial institution in bringing Irish bankruptcy proceedings against a high-profile individual.
- Acted for a company group in a complex dispute over the enforcement of settlement agreements.
