Conyers advised ShaMaran Petroleum Ltd. (formerly ShaMaran Petroleum Corp.) (“ShaMaran”) on its corporate continuance from Canada to Bermuda, forming part of ShaMaran’s strategic repositioning ahead of its listing on the Euronext Growth Oslo market. ShaMaran continues to fully support its secondary listing on Nasdaq First North Growth Market in Stockholm.

The transaction involved the continuation of ShaMaran from a Canadian corporation to a Bermuda company, the delisting of its shares from the TSX Venture Exchange, a swap of the instrument listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market from shares to depositary receipts, a retail offering and the admission to trading of the company’s shares on Euronext Growth Oslo.

ShaMaran commenced trading on the Euronext Growth Oslo on 5 June 2026 under ticker symbol “SNM”. The company’s market capitalisation was approximately NOK 4 billion at market opening.

ShaMaran is an independent oil and gas company with production from two adjacent blocks in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. ShaMaran is part of the Lundin Group of companies.

Director Guy Cooper, Associate Kyra Dunstan and Director Marcello Ausenda of Conyers’ Bermuda office advised on this matter.
