Alex Davies



Alex Davies is Counsel in the corporate department of the Cayman office. He advises clients across various sectors on a broad range of public and private corporate transactions including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, corporate restructuring and offshore funds. Alex also has significant experience in advising on IPOs and business combination transactions involving special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs).

  • Advised Origin Materials, Inc. on its merger with NASDAQ listed Artius Acquisitions Inc. valued at US$1.8 billion
  • Advised ServiceMax, Inc. on its merger with NASDAQ listed Pathfinder Acquisition Corporation valued at US$1.4 billion
  • Advised Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd in the US$5.7 billion take private of NASDAQ listed 51job, Inc.
  • Advised Chrysaor (now Harbour Energy plc) on its US$5 billion reverse takeover of LSE listed Premier Oil plc.
  • Advised the underwriters to the US$710 million IPO of dLocal Limited on NASDAQ
  • Advised the underwriters to the US$692 million IPO of Diversey Holdings, Ltd on NASDAQ
  • Advised Stonegate Pub Company in connection with its Rule 144A / Reg S offering of an aggregate amount of US$1.57 billion senior secured fixed rate notes
