Lucy Day is an Associate in the Cayman Islands Corporate practice specialising in investment funds.

Lucy specialises in the establishment, structuring and ongoing maintenance and operation of hedge fund and private equity funds, and has acted, alongside onshore counsel, for a wide variety of clients including large institutions and investment managers as well as medium and smaller, start-up investment managers.

She has particular expertise in mutual funds registrable under the Mutual Funds Act (As Revised) and private funds registrable under the Private Funds Act (As Revised) as well as advising on funds set up as an exempted companies, exempted limited partnerships and limited liability companies.

Prior to joining Conyers, Lucy was an Associate in the investment funds practice of another leading Cayman Islands firm.
