Conyers advised AmRisc Group and Stone Point Capital LLC on the formation and licensing of a special purpose reinsurance sidecar named Trouvaille Re Ltd. (“Trouvaille”). Trouvaille has been formed to provide reinsurance capacity for commercial excess & surplus property risks which has been produced by AmRisc.
Trouvaille is a Bermuda-based special purpose insurer (SPI) and Conyers, led by Jacqueline King, and working alongside Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as US counsel, advised on the formation, structuring and registration of the company as an SPI in Bermuda as well as the material deal documentation.
Trouvaille will provide collateralised reinsurance capacity for AmRisc’s risks beginning on April 1st 2024.
