Conyers advised China Gas Holdings Limited (“China Gas”) in connection with the issue of up to RMB 500 million super short term commercial papers with maturity not exceeding 161 days on the China Inter-bank Bond Market.
China Gas, a leading energy supplier in China, focuses on city and township gas businesses.
China Gas is issuing super short-term commercial papers to quickly raise capital for immediate operational needs and short-term projects. These debt instruments, with maturities under 270 days, provide rapid and flexible funding without long-term commitments. The 161-day maturity period helps manage liquidity and aligns with China Gas’s short-term financial strategies.
Conyers Partner Anna Chong and Counsel Beverly Cheung advised on this matter working alongside Global Law Office, Shanghai Branch.
