Conyers provided British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands legal advice to China Aoyuan Group (the “Company”) in connection with its private placement of US$200 million 7.35% Senior Notes due 2023 (the “Notes”) constituted pursuant to an Indenture supported by guarantees and charges over the assets of the group’s BVI and HK subsidiaries and governed by an intercreditor arrangement.

The Company is one of the leading property developers in Guangdong province in China and develops composite properties, incorporating healthy living concepts such as sports and health into residential communities.
