Conyers advised special purpose insurer Hestia Re Ltd. on its new placement of US$100 million Series 2023-1 Class A Principal At-Risk Variable Notes, due 17 April 2026.
Conyers’ role included assisting with the preparation of documents, facilitating the listing of the notes on the Bermuda Stock Exchange and providing Bermuda law advice to the company up to closing. This catastrophe bond transaction was the first sponsored by the Kin Interinsurance Network in 2023.
