Conyers is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its 2026 Gap Year Programme. The paid internship provides recent high school and university undergraduates with the opportunity to work within a leading international law firm and develop valuable skills for their future careers.
The Gap Year Programme is designed for students who are taking a gap year before continuing their studies, offering them the opportunity to experience the career paths available within a professional services environment. Participants will be placed within one of the firm’s business services teams, including Compliance, Trust Services, Corporate Services, Marketing and Finance. During their placement, students will gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of the firm, contribute to team projects that strengthen their capabilities and confidence and gain a deeper understanding of the services delivered to clients internationally.
In addition to gaining practical workplace experience, students will learn from experienced professionals, build their professional networks and develop skills that will support their academic and career interests.

The Gap Year Programme is open to Bermudian students aged 18 and older who are enrolled in (or have deferred) an associate or undergraduate degree programme. Previous work experience is not required; however, applicants should demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow through practice experience.
The 2026 programme will commence in October and generally requires a 3-4 month commitment to a full-time position.
