This year marks a proud milestone for the firm as we celebrate 10 years of the Conyers Inter-School Debate Tournament. A decade of spirited dialogue, critical thinking, and young voices boldly shaping ideas. What began as a modest platform for friendly competition has grown into a respected tradition that brings schools together, challenging perspectives and nurturing confidence, leadership, and respect for diverse viewpoints.
Hosted at Cayman Prep & High School, the tournament brought together 80 students from 11 schools and was supported by 70+ judges and volunteers.
“Over the years, our tournaments have inspired collaboration, sharpened minds, and empowered students to speak with clarity and conviction. As we reflect on 10 years of unforgettable debates, we also look ahead with excitement to the future of debate and the next generation of thinkers who will carry it forward”, said Conyers Partner Cora Miller.
Participating schools included John Gray High School, CF School, Clifton Hunter High School, Cayman Prep & High School, Hope Academy, Cayman International School, St. Ignatius Catholic School, Grace Christian Academy, Triple C School, Layman Scott High School, and some home schoolers.
