Congratulations to Conyers Partners Norman Hau and Michael Makridakis, and Anna Lin who have been recognised as Top Offshore Litigators 2022 by Asian Legal Business.
The Top 15 Offshore Litigators list features 10 named litigators who are based in Asia full-time or have done a significant amount of work related to Asian jurisdictions.
We are delighted that Norman, Michael and Anna are recognised in this list by ALB. Our three litigators are integral members of our Hong Kong team and are deserving recipients of this recognition.
Norman joined the firm as an associate in 2012 and became Conyers’ first litigation lawyer based in Hong Kong. He was then appointed Counsel in 2016 and made Partner two years later. He delivers seminars and trainings to clients and onshore lawyers, providing insights from the offshore perspective. His latest webinar was held in July 2022 during the Conyers Asia Webinar Series 2022.
Michael joined the firm in March 2021 and is an experienced offshore lawyer. He has lived and practised law in the Cayman Islands since 2008 and in Hong Kong since 2016. Michael is an accredited insolvency and restructuring law specialist and an accomplished commercial litigator and advocate.
Anna joined the firm in 2016 and was promoted Partner in 2022. Before pursuing her legal career, she graduated with first class honours majoring in translation at the University of Hong Kong. She is a Mandarin native speaker and is highly valued for her combination of legal expertise and multi-language proficiency.
