Conyers acted as British Virgin Islands legal counsel to State Grid Overseas Investment (BVI) Limited in connection with the issuance of

  1. RMB3.9 billion principal amount of its 1.86% Senior Guaranteed Notes due 2031

  2. RMB7 billion principal amount of its 2.18% Senior Guaranteed Notes due 2036, and

  3. RMB4 billion principal amount of its 2.46% Senior Guaranteed Notes due 2046

under the US$15 billion medium term note programme established by the Issuer, guaranteed by State Grid Corporation of China.

State Grid Corporation of China is one of the world’s largest utility companies, operating China’s national power grid and serving more than 1.1 billion people across the country.
