Kiah Estwick is a Senior Associate in the Cayman Islands Corporate practice. Kiah joined Conyers in 2018 as an articled clerk, qualifying in June 2020.

Kiah’s practice focuses on fund finance and a broad range of banking and finance transactions. She advises lenders, sponsors and fund managers on subscription credit facilities, NAV-based and hybrid facilities, series and umbrella financings, project financings, leveraged financings, asset-backed structures and collateralised loan obligation (CLO) transactions.

She has extensive experience advising on the formation, structuring and ongoing maintenance of private equity and hedge funds, and on the establishment, governance and operation of a wide range of Cayman Islands entities and investment structures, including compliance with the Private Funds Act and Mutual Funds Act.

Kiah also advises on a broad spectrum of corporate and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings, downstream investments, corporate governance, and general compliance under Cayman Islands law.

She regularly acts for major international financial institutions, sponsors and asset managers on cross-border transactions, providing Cayman Islands legal advice on structuring, enforceability, perfection and regulatory requirements.
