Matthew MacLeod is an Associate in the Bermuda Corporate practice. Matthew joined Conyers in 2024 after practicing in the corporate department of another Bermuda law firm.
Matthew’s practice includes all aspects of general corporate and commercial law with a particular focus on cross-border corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, amalgamations, shipping, aviation, insurance and compliance and regulatory matters.
Prior to working in Bermuda Matthew qualified as an Associate at a leading law firm in Atlantic Canada and has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Brunswick and British Columbia, Canada.

- Advised Aircastle Limited in connection with the offering of US$500 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.250% senior notes due 2030 (the “Notes”) and the listing of the Notes on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
