Michael Absell is an Associate in the Bermuda Litigation and Restructuring Practice. Michael specialises in employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, advising clients across a wide range of industries, including insurance, technology and financial services.

Michael’s practice spans all aspects of the employment relationship, including pre-employment negotiations, advising on day-to-day HR matters, through to workplace investigations, managing discipline and performance issues and the termination of employment.

Michael also has significant experience handling cross-jurisdictional employment matters and advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

As a member of the Bermuda Human Resource Association, Michael works closely with clients to navigate both the strategic and operational aspects of employment law.
