Conyers is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron-Michel Davis as Immigration Manager within the firm. This appointment follows the retirement of Belinda Wright who served as Immigration Manager with the firm for sixteen years.

Ron-Michel Davis joined Conyers in 2022, bringing with him nearly two decades of public sector experience. He has a broad background in developing and implementing policies, procedures and operating systems tailored to immigration and compliance.

“Ron-Michel is a natural successor to Belinda Wright who has been the mainstay of Conyers’s immigration services,” said Christian Luthi, Chairman and Director at Conyers. “His experience and proven ability will enhance our immigration offering and contribute to the continued growth of our business. The firm extends its gratitude to Belinda for her dedicated service and leadership in growing the Conyers’s immigration service offering.”

Prior to joining Conyers, Ron-Michel held various senior positions within Bermuda’s Department of Immigration, where he rose through the ranks from Senior Immigration Inspector to Compliance Manager. He also occasionally acted as Assistant Chief Immigration Officer and Chief Immigration Officer, overseeing both the operational and strategic functions of the department.

Conyers Immigration Services is dedicated to providing expert immigration advice and assistance to both individuals and businesses, ranging from newly established companies to those already operating in Bermuda. The firm’s comprehensive services covers a wide array of immigration applications, including Work Permits (all categories), Permanent Resident’s Certificates (PRC), Bermuda Status, Naturalisation as a British Overseas Territories Citizen (BOTC), Incentives for Job Makers and Work Permit Exemptions, Permission to Reside on an Annual Basis, and Extensions to Spousal Employment Rights, among others. Additionally, the team specialises in catering to the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals seeking residency options in Bermuda, whether through investment opportunities or long-term residency solutions.

Ron-Michel stated, “I would like to express gratitude to my predecessor for her unwavering dedication over the years and for shaping our Immigration practice into the entity it is today. It is a true honour to step into the role of Immigration Manager and I am eager to build upon the strong foundation that has been established. With the support of my talented and dynamic team of consummate professionals, I am excited to enhance the Conyers Immigration experience and continue delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.”
