Conyers advised BT Group plc (“BT Group”) on the Bermuda law elements of a proposed joint venture agreement with Verizon Communications Inc. (“Verizon”) combining their respective international operations.
The joint venture will serve more than 3,000 customers in over 180 countries, representing approximately US$4 billion in combined annual revenue. The transaction is expected to complete in 2027, subject to regulatory clearances and other customary closing conditions.
BT Group is a multinational telecommunications holding company headquartered in London and listed on the London Stock Exchange.
