Conyers acted as special Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands counsel to PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk to issue legal opinions in relation to certain of its Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands subsidiaries in connection with the issue by Medco Maple Tree Pte. Ltd. of US$500 million 8.96% senior notes due 2029 (the “Notes”).
Medco Maple Tree Pte. Ltd. is a wholly-owned Singapore-incorporated subsidiary of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. The Notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange on 30 October 2023.
