Conyers is acting as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Einride AB (“Einride”) on its business combination with special purpose acquisition company Legato Merger Corp. III. The transaction, which is anticipated to complete in the first half of 2026 (subject to customary closing conditions), involves a Cayman Islands statutory merger which will result in the combined company becoming publicly listed company on the NYSE.

Einride is a leading digital, electric and autonomous freight technology company. The business combination is expected to create the public market’s premier autonomous and electric freight technology platform, combining Einride’s technology platform and operational expertise across seven countries with proven commercial traction and leadership in autonomous vehicle deployments.

The Conyers team is led by mergers and acquisitions Partner Alex Davies, Counsel Matthew Harkness and Senior Associate Caroline Dekker, who are working alongside DLA Piper (US and Sweden) as lead legal counsel to Einride.
