Conyers acted as special Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands counsel to PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk in relation to certain of its Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands subsidiaries in connection with the issue by Medco Cypress Tree Pte. Lt. of US$400 million 8.625% senior notes due 2030 (the “Notes”).
Medco Cypress Tree Pte. Ltd. is a wholly-owned Singapore-incorporated subsidiary of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. The Notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange on 20 May 2025.
This issuance aligns with Medco Energi’s comprehensive plan to enhance its financial stability and fund ongoing initiatives. The appealing 8.625% interest rate demonstrates investor trust in Medco Energi’s business strategy and future potential.
