In particular, all of the BVI’s incorporation and registration procedures are already conducted online through the Registry’s VIRRGIN system, thereby ensuring the risk of any spread of Covid-19 is minimised. As a result, we remain able to undertake all corporate administrative procedures and transactions efficiently on behalf of our clients.
In addition, most of our teams are now working from home or on split shifts, something we already have the flexibility to do, as our systems and processes are designed to securely support this type of working environment. This enables us to deliver high-quality work for our clients whilst prioritising the safety and well-being of our people.
Both Conyers and the BVI Corporate Registry are drawing on our experience of operating seamlessly after the impact of Hurricane Irma, when we re-opened our office with a full team of lawyers, corporate managers, administrators and support staff just weeks after a devastating storm hit the BVI.
