Lucy Macris is an Associate in the London Corporate practice.

Her practice encompasses many aspects of corporate finance, banking law and investment funds, with a particular focus on asset finance transactions. Lucy joined Conyers in 2024.

Experience

  • Assisting with the issuance of various specialist debt securities on the Cayman Stock Exchange.
  • Advised Phoenix Aviation Capital on the closing of a $240 million term loan facility with AIP Capital in connection with the financing of next generation aircraft assets on long-term leases to several major airlines;
  • Advised Phoenix Aviation Capital on the formation of a new subsidiary and subsequent entry into a facility agreement with an institutional financing platform in connection with the financing of several Boeing 737 Max-8 aircraft;
  • Advised JP Morgan Chase in connection with the entry of a US hedge fund into a facility agreement and related guarantees.

  • Acted for Ares Management Corporation, a leading global alternative investment manager, on the closing of its fifth European direct lending fund at €0 billion, representing the largest European direct lending fund raised at the time and involving nearly 180 investors including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and asset managers;*
  • Advised Minsheng Financial Leasing on a $255 million long-term refinancing project with major Japanese bank, MUFG, in connection with the leasing of a large fleet of aircraft to a number of airlines;*
  • Advised Falko Regional Aircraft in connection with the delivery of a number of aircraft on behalf of its managed fund, Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund II and the subsequent lease of aircraft to a major South African airline;*
