Conyers acted as special legal counsel to BW Energy Limited in connection with the initial public offering and listing of shares in BW Energy Limited on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
BW Energy is a growth E&P company with a differentiated strategy targeting proven offshore oil and gas reservoirs through low risk phased developments.
BW Energy issued 46,904,200 new shares in connection with the initial public offering, which were sold at a fixed price per Offer Share of NOK 24.40, raising gross proceeds of approximately NOK 1,144 million (approximately US$125 million).
A total of 53,939,830 shares (including over-allotted shares) were allotted in the Offering, which is equivalent to NOK 1,316 million (approximately US$143.8 million).
