Conyers has advised longstanding client Weatherford International Ltd. (“Weatherford”) in connection with the amendment and restatement of its LC Credit Agreement dated 17 October 2022 (the “Credit Agreement”), including an increase in the aggregate commitments under the Credit Agreement.
Weatherford is one of the world’s largest multinational oilfield service companies. Together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, Weatherford provides equipment and services used in the drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention of oil and natural gas wells.
Conyers Director Edward Rance, Counsel Karoline Tauschke and Associate Kathleen McBeath of our Bermuda practice advised on the Bermuda law aspects of the transaction, while Partner and Head of BVI Corporate, Robert Briant, and Counsel Nicholas Kuria of our British Virgin Islands office advised on the BVI aspects. The Conyers team worked alongside Latham & Watkins LLP who acted as US counsel to Weatherford.
