Conyers is pleased to announce that Daniella Carrazana has been admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands following the completion of her articled clerkship in the Cayman office of Conyers and that she has joined our Corporate team as an Associate. Daniella was sworn in before the Hon Justice Williams on Thursday, 7 April with friends, family and colleagues in attendance at the ceremony.

In September 2021, Daniella joined Conyers’ Articled Clerkship programme, an 18-month training programme which supports and develops Caymanian talent in the legal industry.

Daniella’s clerkship saw her undertake rotations across Conyers’ various practice areas including Insurance, Regulatory, Corporate, Funds, Litigation and Private Client & Trust.

Daniella was awarded an LLB in 2020 from the University of Liverpool and in 2021 she received a Professional Practice Course Certificate from Oxford Brookes University (both which are administered by the Truman Bodden Law School). She also has a Diploma in Paralegal Studies from the National Association of Licensed Paralegals.

In addition to her qualifications, Daniella joined Conyers with extensive legal experience gained as an Executive Officer in the Cayman Islands Government Judicial Administration and as a paralegal for other leading offshore firms on Island.

Daniella continues her law career at Conyers, joining the Corporate practice as an Associate.

“We are extremely pleased to have Daniella continue her career with us as an Associate in our Corporate team and it has been a pleasure to have acted as her Principal during her Articles of Clerkship at Conyers,” said Matthew Stocker, Partner and Head of Conyers’ Cayman Corporate Practice. “She will be a valuable member of the team and I wish her a long and successful career with the firm.”

Conyers is proud to support Caymanians pursuing a career in law. In addition to our Articled Clerk Programme, the firm offers a Legal Education Award to qualified Caymanians enrolled in a law degree course as well as summer internship opportunities across all areas of the business.

Conyers’ Articled Clerk Programme provides qualified Caymanians with training opportunities that ensure professional experience in a range of practice areas. Our articled clerks work in a stimulating and supportive environment with senior lawyers, many of whom are recognised leaders in their practice area.
