Conyers acted as Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands counsel to PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. in connection with the issuance by Medco Cypress Tree Pte. Ltd., its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, of US$200 million in aggregate principal amount of 8.625% Senior Notes due 2030 (the “New Notes”).
The New Notes consolidate and form a single class with the original notes issued under the indenture dated 19 May 2025, governing the outstanding aggregate principal amount of US$400 million of 8.625% Senior Notes due 2030 listed on the Singapore Exchange. Upon completion of the issuance, the aggregate principal amount of outstanding notes is US$600 million.
