Conyers is pleased to announce that the firm has been shortlisted for Financial Services Regulatory: Regional Team of the Year at the IFLR Americas Awards 2026 – the only offshore law firm to have been recognised in this category. The distinction reflects the strength of the firm’s global Regulatory & Risk Advisory practice and the depth of our expertise across Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and Asia.
Conyers’ Regulatory & Risk Advisory teams provide integrated, cross-border advice to financial institutions, investment managers, funds, insurers, fintech businesses, family offices and corporations. The practice supports clients throughout the regulatory lifecycle from establishment and licensing to ongoing compliance, regulatory change, inspections, investigations, enforcement and remediation across the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks in each jurisdiction.
The practice is led by senior lawyers across the firm’s global platform. Róisín Liddy-Murphy, Partner and Head of Regulatory & Risk Advisory (Cayman) advises on the full spectrum of regulatory matters with a focus on the investment funds, insurance, Web3 and banking sectors. Her practice encompasses both advisory and contentious regulatory matters. Alexander Doyle, recently promoted to Partner and Head of Regulatory & Risk Advisory (Asia), directs the firm’s regulatory strategy across the Asia-Pacific region from Hong Kong. Eric Flaye, Partner and Head of Investment Funds and Regulatory & Risk Advisory (BVI), advises extensively on private capital structuring, fundraising, fintech and Web3 matters and related regulatory compliance. Jennifer Panchaud, Director and Head of Regulatory & Risk Advisory (Bermuda), focuses on (re)insurance regulatory matters, corporate governance and regulatory remediation.
“This shortlisting recognises the calibre of our people and the strength, breadth and cross-jurisdictional reach of our Regulatory & Risk Advisory practice,” said Róisín Liddy-Murphy. “Our clients operate in sectors that are subject to increasingly complex regulation and heightened supervisory scrutiny. Whether advising investment funds, insurers, Web3 business or banking institutions on a strategic regulatory matter or representing clients in a regulatory investigation or enforcement process, we remain focused on delivering clear, practical and commercially grounded advice. We are particularly honoured to be the only offshore firm shortlisted in this category, reflecting the depth and reach of our capabilities across the Cayman Islands, the BVI, Bermuda and Asia.”
