Conyers acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Plum Acquisition Corp. I on its successful business combination with Veea Inc., a first-to-market pioneer in hyperconverged multiaccess networks and AI-driven edge computing. The transaction implies a total enterprise value of approximately US$335 million for the combined company.
Plum Acquisition Corp. I (“Plum”), a Cayman Islands exempted company formed as a special purpose acquisition company, and Veea Inc. announced the successful completion of their previously announced business combination on 16 September 2024 (“Business Combination”). The transaction implies a total enterprise value for the combined company of approximately US$335 million and includes approximately US$36 million raised in a private placement that closed in the second quarter of 2024 and an additional $15 million subscribed for in a private placement concurrent with the closing of the Business Combination.
The Conyers team was led by mergers and acquisitions Partner Alex Davies, Counsel Matthew Harkness and Associates Mauricio Da Rocha and Daniel Cannon, who worked alongside Hogan Lovells US LLP as lead legal counsel to Plum.
