Conyers provided Bermuda legal advice to ARA Asset Management Limited (“ARA”) in connection with the acquisition agreement dated 4 August 2021 entered into between ESR Cayman Limited (“ESR”) and the shareholders of ARA, and a merger between ARA and a wholly-owned Bermuda-incorporated subsidiary of ESR, in relation to ESR’s US$5.2 billion acquisition of ARA .
ESR is the largest real asset manager in APAC powered by the New Economy and is the third largest listed real estate investment manager globally including Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Southeast Asia and New Zealand as well as Europe and the US.
ARA is a real estate fund management company and offers corporate finance advisory services while managing private real estate funds, REITs and specialist equity funds.
